Ndidi, Iheanacho among top 10 most valuable free agents

Super Eagles stars, Wilfred Ndid and Kelechi Iheanacho are among the most valuable free agents currently without clubs after their contracts with Leicester City expired last month.

Ndidi joined Leicester City from Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk in January 2017 and featured in 273 games across all competitions for the Foxes, netting 17 times. His contract expired on June 30, 2024 and became a free agent on July 1, 2024.

With a market value of €16m, the 27 year old is the fifth most valuable free agent behind former AC Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot (€35m), departed Atletico Madrid player Mario Hermoso (€25m), former Real Betis player, Guido Rodriquez (€20m) and Raphael Varane (€20m).

Iheanacho, (€12m) is seventh behind the first five mentioned earlier and former Southampton player, Che Adams (€15m).

The 27 year old has been without a club since his contract expired June 30, 2024 with Leicester City, the club he joined in August 2017 from fellow Premier League side, Manchester City.

Iheanacho netted 61 times in 232 games across all competitions for the Foxes.
