Ndidi makes 260th start in 290 games for Leicester City
Wilfred Ndidi is back in action for Leicester City as he has been named in the starting line up for the Foxes’ FA Cup fourth round tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford Friday evening.
The 28-year-old has not featured for Leicester City since he injured his hamstring in the Foxes’ 2-2 draw with Brighton in a Premier League game around mid-December 2024.
Foxes’ gaffer, Ruud van Nistelrooy, a Man United legend has named the Nigerian in the starting line for the 12th time in 18 FA Cup matches since Ndidi joined the Premier League side in January 2017.
Overall, Ndidi is starting his 260th game in an evening he is making his 290th appearance for Leicester City across all competitions.
He has started 193 of 207 Premier League games, 26 in 32 games in the Sky Bet Championship and 13 in 16 EFL (Carabao) Cup games.
Ndidi has started in all eight (four each) UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League matches played for the Foxes and 7 in eight Europa League games.
