Ndidi set for 280th game as a Leicester City player

If Wilfred Ndidi plays on Tuesday at the Bescot Stadium in a Carabao Cup game against EFL League Two side, Walsall, he will be making his 280th appearance for Leicester City.

The Nigerian joined the Foxes in January 2017 and has featured 197 times in the Premier League for the club, four times in the UEFA Champions League, eight in the Europa League, four in the UEFA Conference League, 32 in the Sky Bet Championship, one in the Community Shield, 17 in the FA Cup and 16 in the EFL (Carabao) Cup.

The 27 year old has scored 18 times and provided 20 assists.

If he plays today, it will be his 17th in the competition in which he has scored three times.

Ndidi has scored once and provided three assists so far this season.

He scored in the Foxes’ 4-0 defeat of Tranmere Rovers in the second round of the Carabao Cup while his three assists have come in five Premier League games so far this season.
