Ndidi Suspended After Derby Booking, To Miss Antalyaspor Clash

Wilfred Ndidi will miss Beşiktaş’s upcoming Super League fixture against Antalyaspor after picking up a suspension in the heated derby against Fenerbahçe.

The Nigerian midfielder was shown a yellow card in the 52nd minute at Chobani Stadium following a tackle on Matteo Guendouzi, ruling him out of next week’s match.

Ndidi has been a regular presence for Beşiktaş since joining from Leicester City in the summer of 2025. He has featured 26 times for the Black Eagles, scoring twice in 22 Super League appearances.

His combative style and consistency in midfield have made him a key figure for the side, but his absence will be felt as Beşiktaş look to maintain momentum in the league.

The derby clash ended with Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş battling fiercely, but Ndidi’s booking proved costly for Martin O’Neill’s team selection ahead of the Antalyaspor encounter.
