NFF and Nigeria Police Strengthen Security Collaboration in Abuja

The Nigeria Football Federation has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing safety and security at football events in the Federal Capital Territory following a strategic meeting between NFF General Secretary Dr Sanusi Mohammed (MON) and the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye.

During the courtesy visit on Thursday, Dr Sanusi congratulated CP Dantawaye on his recent appointment and conveyed goodwill messages from the NFF Executive Committee and Management.

He emphasized the importance of the partnership between the NFF and the Nigeria Police Force, acknowledging the critical role law enforcement plays in maintaining peace and order during football activities.

CP Dantawaye welcomed the NFF delegation warmly and assured them of the police command’s readiness to provide a safe and conducive environment for athletes, officials, and fans in Abuja. He pledged continued cooperation and proactive measures to support the federation’s events.

As a token of appreciation, Dr Sanusi presented a national team jersey to CP Dantawaye. He was accompanied by Mr Barnabas Joro, NFF’s Head of Safety and Security, underscoring the federation’s commitment to building strong institutional relationships for the betterment of Nigerian football.
