NFF President Gusau Backs Beach Soccer Revival Ahead of NBSL Super Finals

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau MON, has pledged full support for the upcoming Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super Finals and the continued revival of the Supersand Eagles.
During a courtesy visit by the NBSL Management team led by National Coordinator Mahmud Hadejia, Gusau emphasized the importance of building public awareness and corporate backing for beach soccer.
The Super Finals are scheduled to take place from November 6–9 at Jabi Lake Park in Abuja.
‘We want to see Nigeria back at the top level of beach soccer,’ Gusau said. ‘We’re committed to supporting the Super Finals and ensuring the national team continues its revival.’
Gusau praised the NBSL’s efforts in maintaining a structured domestic competition over the past five years, which he said laid the groundwork for the Supersand Eagles’ return to continental action. He also highlighted the importance of having a clear selection structure before rejoining international tournaments.
The Super Finals will feature top beach soccer teams competing for the national title, alongside a charity and cancer awareness match involving celebrities, entertainers, and football legends.
