NFF to Super Eagles: Rewrite Your Story in Morocco

The Nigeria Football Federation has urged the Super Eagles to seize the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco as the perfect stage to rewrite their story and restore national pride.
After reviewing the team’s preparations for the 35th AFCON, scheduled for 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, the Executive Committee mandated the Federation’s Secretariat to deliver a smooth and uninterrupted build‑up for the three‑time African champions.
This charge is coming less than two weeks to the start of the Championships in Morocco.
The NFF challenged the players to put behind them the disappointment of the recent FIFA World Cup playoff exit and channel their energy into crafting a new narrative.
With Morocco once again hosting a defining moment in Nigerian football, the Federation called on the team to rise above past setbacks and prove their quality on the continent’s biggest stage.
The Super Eagles will begin their AFCON campaign on December 23 with their opening group game against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania at the Fez stadium.
The team will play Tunisia next at the same venue four days later before facing the Cranes of Uganda on December 30, also at the Fez stadium
