Noni Madueke, Wright-Phillips hail ‘Cold Palmer’ as Chelsea survive late Luton fightback

Cole Palmer scored twice to help Chelsea beat Luton Town 3-2 in their Premier League tie at Kenilworth Road on Saturday
although the victory was not enough as the west London side still remain 10th on the log.

Palmer put Chelsea ahead on 12 minutes and made it 3-0 on 70 minutes after Noni Madueke had doubled the visitors lead on
37 minutes.

Palmer, the former Manchester City player displayed a good definition of composure in scoring his second goal of the game
and Madueke told TNT News Palmer is not called ‘Cold Palmer’ for nothing.

“That’s why they call him ‘Cold Palmer’, isn’t it,!” said Madueke.

Premier League pundit Shaun Wright-Phillips believes the 21 year old who joind Chelsea last September is the Blues’ best
player so far.

“For me, Cole Palmer has probably been Chelsea’s best player this season, other than maybe Thiago Silva when he plays.
He’s been the focal point of their attacks and he’s really stepped up as a young player,” Wright-Phillips who scored 32 in
315 Premier League appearances told Premier League productions.

Palmer has now both scored and assisted in four different Premier League matches this season, more than any other player.
