NPFL 2025/26 Numbers: Rivers United and Rangers Dominate Wins, Insurance Top Scoring Charts, Remo Stars Struggle

The 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season continues to deliver intriguing statistics as the campaign heads into its final stretch.
Bendel Insurance have emerged as the most prolific side in front of goal, netting 33 times, but their attacking flair has been offset by a league-high 11 draws, a tally they share with Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.
Defending champions Remo Stars have endured a difficult run, losing 16 matches, more than bottom club Kwara United, who have suffered 12 defeats.
At the other end of the table, Rivers United and Rangers International have both recorded 13 victories, underlining their consistency. The current league leaders have lost only three times, the fewest of any side, reinforcing their title credentials.
Newcomers Kun Khaifat and Wikki Tourists have struggled to find wins, managing just seven apiece.
Only the top two clubs boast double-digit goal differences, with Rangers leading on +12 and Rivers close behind at +10, with two games still in hand.
Remo Stars, by contrast, hold the worst goal difference in the league at -8, a reflection of their struggles, with just 10 matches left to play.
Kwara United have been the least effective in attack, scoring only 19 goals so far, a statistic that highlights their difficulties in climbing away from the bottom of the table.
As the season approaches its climax, the numbers suggest a tight battle at the top, while several clubs continue to fight for survival.
