NPFL: All eyes on Ahmed Musa as Kano Pillars face Amokachi’s Lobi Stars in Lafia
All eyes will be on former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa who is expected to spearhead Kano Pillars’ attack in their matchday 13 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, game against Lobi Stars at the Lafia Township stadium on Saturday.
Musa scored a 75th minute equalizer to rescue a point for Kano Pillars when they hosted Emmanuel Amuneke’s Heartland FC last weekend, barely two weeks after scoring a 92nd minute winner when Sai Masu Gida defeated Plateau United 2-1.
Can he deliver another winner on Saturday to give Kano Pillars their second away win in a row?
That will be what will keep the fans at the edge of their seat in Lafia.
Kano Pillars are also determined to return to Kano with a result.
‘Gearing up for the big clash as we get a feel of the turf at the Lafia City Stadium ahead of our NPFL25 MD13 encounter against Lobi Stars on Saturday.
‘The team is fully focused and determined, with eyes set on claiming a crucial victory to make our passionate fans proud,’ the team wrote on its X handle.
Meanwhile, another former Eagles star, Daniel Amokachi will be hoping to lead Lobi Stars to their third home win in a row for the first time this season.
