NPFL: Enyimba declare war on Rangers as Flying Antelopes storm Aba

The Peoples Elephant, Enyimba international say they have a score to settle with their oriental brothers, Enugu Rangers
who visit the Enyimba international stadium on Wednesday for a NPFL matchweek 15 tie.

The Elephants have devoured the Flying Antelopes more than the vistors have managed to escape and the two-time CAF
Champions League winners still see Wednesday’s game as a battle that they must win.

‘The Elephant has a score to settle with the Flying Antelope’, Enyimba wrote on X, formerly twitter, signifying that they
will not give the struggling Flying Antelopes from Enugu any breathing space.

Rangers have been bad travellers so far this season, drawing just two of the seven games on the road this season but they
will feel they can fly over the Elephnats and the commercial city of Aba to claim all three points.

The last time Rangers won in Aba was in May 2021 when Godspower Aniefiok and Christian Nnaji scored two second half goals
for the win.

Enyimba coach, George Finidi will however be banking on hids team’s impressive home form this season to defeat Rangers.

The Peoples Elephant have won six of their seven home games, losing only to Remo Stars at the end of last month.

A win will, temporarily at least, take Enyimba into fourth position with 25 points while Rangers will move up three places
from 10th to seventh if they are able to subdue their host.
