NPFL: Ikorodu City out to end Finidi, Rivers United’s unbeaten run

Ikorodu City FC’s captain, Waliu Ojetoye says the team is ready to bounce back from their 2-1 loss to Enyimba FC of Aba last week in Aba and end Finidi George and Rivers United’s nine-match unbeaten start to the 2024/25 Nigeria Football Premier League, NPFL, season at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos on Sunday.

Ojetoye told the club’s official website he and the rest of the Oga Boys are ready for Sunday’s game.

‘Yeah, the mood in camp is positive and our preparation for the next game has been excellent. We can’t wait to execute everything we trained on this week.

‘We are good to go for the next game and our target is to get all three points,’ Ojetoye said.

A win for Ikorodu City will see Rivers United’s unbeaten run for the season brought to an end and will also ensure the NPFL newcomers’ third victory of the season.
