Matchday 34 sets up nerve-racking fixtures that could shape the destiny of clubs at both ends of the table.

League leaders Enugu Rangers travel to Minna in search of their first away win in six games when they face Niger Tornadoes. The Flying Antelopes, who were held to a goalless draw at home by Barau FC last weekend, have not won away since January’s Oriental Derby victory over Kun Khalifat.

Rangers won their first encounter in Enugu 1-0 and will be hoping to do a double over their host. The Flying Antelopes’ grip on top spot is under pressure, with Rivers United desperate to reclaim first place.

A 2-0 defeat at Warri Wolves last weekend saw them surrender leadership to Rangers on goal difference, and they must now respond against a Plateau side brimming with confidence.

In Ibadan, Shooting Stars welcome Kwara United with hopes of breaking into the continental ticket zone.

The Oluyole Warriors have been formidable at home but undone by poor away form. Kwara United, fighting to escape relegation, could prove a dangerous opponent at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

Kun Khalifat, buoyed by their stunning win over Nasarawa, host Warri Wolves in Owerri with hopes of climbing off the bottom. The Owerri-based team got a draw (1-1) when both sides met in November 2025 in Warri. Another stalemate is not ruled out.

Enyimba, enduring a disappointing campaign, face Katsina United in Aba as they fight to secure safety rather than chase glory. The ‘Peoples Elephants’ are also seeking for revenge after losing the first leg, as it were, 3-2 in Katsina in November 2025

Bayelsa United, sitting precariously in 16th, welcome Wikki Tourists in a clash that could drag either side deeper into relegation waters. Their first meeting ended in a 1-1 draw in Bauchi.

Remo Stars, revitalized under Usman Abdallah, travel to Kano to face Barau FC in search of their first away win in 16 matches. Barau, who held Rangers to a draw last weekend, will be no easy hosts, with continental ambitions of their own. Remo won 2-0 when the sides met in Ikenne in November 2025.
