NPFL Super Six Draw: Enyimba vs Lobi to open tournament in Lagos
Enyimba football club of Aba and Remo Stars of Remo will open the Super Six tornament which begins on Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
The two clubs are among the six who made it to the tournament by finishing top three in their respective NPFL groups.
Enyimba finished third behind Remo Stars and Bendel Insurance in group A and will be seeking to show why they have been one of Nigeria’s most successful clubsides over the years why Remo will be keen to prove how they took four points off the Peoples Elephant when they both met during the regular season.
Remo Stars defeated Enyimba 1-0 in February and conceded a 97th minute equaliser in Aba in the reverse fixture in April.
Sunshine Stars will face defending champions, Rivers United in the second match of the day while surprise package, Bendel Insurance of Benin will be seeking to extend their unbeaten run to the playoffs starting with their opening game against Lobi Stars.
