Nwabali Mulls NPFL Offers After Chippa United Exit

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is considering his next move following his departure from South African club Chippa United, where he spent four years in the Premier Soccer League.

The 29-year-old, who has been without a club since severing ties with the Port Elizabeth side, recently admitted that he had not yet received a formal offer despite reported interest from Tanzanian giants Simba SC and Moroccan powerhouse Raja Casablanca.

However, Nigerian outlet Brila.net reports that Rivers United have tabled a contract proposal for the Eagles’ number one, though no official response has been given by the player or his representatives.

NPFL leaders Ikorodu City are also said to have approached the former Enyimba shot-stopper as they look to strengthen their squad.

While domestic interest appears strong, it remains unclear whether Nwabali has attracted concrete offers from European or Asian clubs.

His next destination is therefore still uncertain, with fans eagerly awaiting confirmation of where the AFCON standout will continue his career.
