Okere Confident as Enyimba Seek Revival in NPFL Clash With Warri Wolves

Daniel Okere believes Enyimba can turn their season around when they face Warri Wolves in Ozoro on Sunday in a Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 29 clash.

The People’s Elephant have endured a difficult run, slipping to 15th on the table after winning just one of their last nine matches. Last weekend’s 1-1 draw at home to Kun Khalifat added to the frustration, leaving the two-time African champions only a point clear of the relegation zone.

Okere, however, insists the squad is ready to respond.

Speaking to Enyimbafc.net, the former Abia Comets star said the players are ‘physically and mentally prepared’ to go for maximum points against the Seasiders. He urged fans to remain patient and supportive, stressing that Enyimba’s stature as Nigeria’s biggest club will shine through.

‘We know that come Sunday, we are going to get it here in Ozoro, Delta State,’ he said.

‘We ask for your support. We ask for patience from the supporters. This is Enyimba, the biggest club in Nigeria and West Africa in general. We’ll get it right. Up Enyimba!’
