Okoye Hits Career High Market Value as Orban Climbs to €10m
The latest Transfermarkt update has reshaped the market values of two Nigerian internationals in Serie A, with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye reaching a career milestone and striker Gift Orban showing signs of recovery toward his former peak.
Udinese’s Okoye has seen his valuation rise to €10 million, up €2 million from December 2025.
At 26, this marks the highest figure of his career, making him the most valuable Nigerian goalkeeper ever and the first to cross into double digits.
Okoye is currently ranked 1,154 worldwide, 156th in Serie A, fifth among Udinese players, and 13th among Nigerian players. He also holds the 59th spot among all goalkeepers globally and is ranked 125th among players born in 1999.
His steady climb since 2024 reflects consistent performances in Serie A and growing recognition across Europe.
Orban of Hellas Verona has also seen his market value increase to €10 million, up from €8.5 million in December 2025. While this figure is not a career high, the 23-year-old was once valued at €20 million, the latest rise suggests he may be regaining momentum after a dip.
Orban is ranked 1,154 worldwide, 156th in Serie A, first among Hellas Verona players, and 13th among Nigerian players. He also sits 167th among centre-forwards globally and 132nd among players born in 2002.
