Ola Aina rated above average in Nottingham Forest debut

Ola Aina has made his debut for Nothingham Forest against Dutch Eredivise side, PSV Eindhoven on Sunday in a pre-season friendly at the Phillips Stadion in
Eindhoven.

The Nigeria left back completed his return to the Premier League and joined Steve Cooper’s side Serie A club Torino.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international agreed a one-year deal with Forest, with options for the future also agreed in the contract.

Ola started the game but was replaced at half time Neco Williams.

For his 45 minutes display, the Nigerian was rated above average by Nothingham based newspaper, the Nothingham Post.

‘Aina did very little wrong in his first appearance for the Reds’, wrote the newspaper who rated the Super Eagle 6/10.

Aina has featured 34 times in the Premier League for Chelsea and Fulham (loan) and has scored just twice and provided one assist.

The Nigerian kept seven clean sheets and his strike against West Brom in November 2020 won the Budweiser Goal of the Month award.
