Ola Aina’s market values rises to career highest

Ola Aina’s rising profile in football after his scintillating and impressive performance at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire early this year has been rewarded with a rise in his market value by Transfermarkt.

The Nothingham Forest player is now worth €12m, up by €2m from the €10m he was valued just two months ago.

The 27 year old’s market value has risen five times since June last year and he has now become the 13th most valuable Nigerian player, 51st among all players playing at right back and 13th among all Nothingham Forest players.

The former Chelsea player scored once and provided an assist in 22 appearances for Nothingham Forest last season.

Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, Forest froward Taiwo Awoniyi, Frank Onyeka of Brentford, Gabriel Osho of Luton Town and Fred Onyedinma also of Luton Town have their market value unchanged.

Awoniyi, injured for most part of the concluded season in England is still valued at €28m while Ndidi remains €16m, Calvin Bassey of Fulham is still valued at €16m and Onyeka at €9m.

Meanwhile, Fulham midfeider, Alex Iwobi’s market value fell from €28m to €25m, Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho also fell from €13m to €12m.

Joe Aribo, Emmanuel Dennis, Jamilu Collins, Sone Aluko, Semi Ajayi and Josh Maja also had their market value drop.
