Olympique de Marseille join race Terem Moffi

Olympique de Marseille have joined the race to sign FC Lorient Nigerian striker Terem Moffi, according to French newspaper, L’Équipe.

Moffi is also a target for Ligue 1 rivals OGC Nice, West Ham United and Southampton.

L’Équipe reports that Marseille are already working on the deal as officials of the club have contacted the player’s entourage in order to lay the

groundwork for a possible transfer.

No offer is yet to be made according to the newspaper but the Ligue 1’s second-placed team would be ready to include out-of-favour Senegalese forward Bamba Dieng in a potential deal with the Brittany outfit.

Nice hade been earmarked as the most likely destination for the Nigerian striker, who has set Ligue 1 alight this season with 12 goals.

Only PSG’s Kylian Mbappe has scored more (13).

Moffi is said to be interested in staying in France and this could be in favour of Marseille and Nice.
