Onuachu Outjumps Turkish Super Lig with Ninth Header

Paul Onuachu underlined his aerial dominance in the Turkish Super Lig by scoring his ninth headed goal of the season during Trabzonspor’s 2-1 victory over Galatasaray.

The Nigerian striker’s latest effort not only secured the win but also confirmed his position as the league’s leading scorer of headed goals.

Onuachu has now scored more headers than any team in the competition except İstanbul Başakşehir, who also have nine.

His tally surpasses the totals of Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş, each with eight headed goals, meaning Onuachu alone has outscored some of Turkey’s biggest clubs in this category.

With this record, Onuachu has established himself as the undisputed aerial threat in Turkish football, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most effective target men in Europe.
