Onuachu Urges Focus After Trabzonspor’s Galatasaray Triumph

Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu struck a cautious note on the championship race after his side’s 2-1 victory over Galatasaray in the Trendyol Super League.

The Nigerian forward, who opened the scoring in the 28th-week clash, praised his teammates’ determination in front of the home crowd.

‘We fought really hard in front of this fan, we put everything on the line to win. We respect Galatasaray, they have very good players. We got the reward of our labour,’ he said.

Onuachu acknowledged the challenges ahead but stressed a match-by-match focus.

‘We have tough matches ahead of us from now on. We will look at each match separately, match by match, we will go out to win them all. Göztepe is a strong team, they can take points from Galatasaray. We will win and look ahead. We will see what will happen together.’

The victory keeps Trabzonspor firmly in the title conversation.
