Onuachu: ‘We Need to Win Our Matches and Look Ahead’
Nigerian stresses focus as Trabzonspor eyes title push

Trabzonspor’s prolific striker Paul Onuachu met with fans at TS Club in Papara Park, where he addressed questions about the team’s pursuit of the Süper Lig championship.
Onuachu, who has been in remarkable form this season, has scored 22 goals in 25 league appearances, six more than his nearest challenger in the top scorer race.
His goals have been instrumental in lifting Trabzonspor into contention, with the club now emerging as a serious title threat.
The Nigerian forward has started 24 of the 25 matches he has played and has found the net in nine of the ten games since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Asked about the championship race, Onuachu kept his response measured. ‘There is a 4‑point difference now,’ he said. ‘As you know, we have matches ahead of us. We need to win our matches and look ahead.’
