Onyedika still Nigeria’s Most Valuable player in Belgium

Club Brugge’s midfield enforcer Raphael Onyedika has retained his status as the most valuable Super Eagle in the Belgian Pro League.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international, who joined Brugge in August 2022, continues to command a market value of €20 million, making him the top-rated Nigerian in the league and one of its most prized assets overall.

Onyedika’s valuation places him third among Club Brugge players, fourth across the entire Jupiler Pro League and sixth among all Super Eagles players.

His performances have earned him 17 caps for Nigeria, and he remains a key figure in both club and country setups.

The latest market value update also highlights the shifting fortunes of other Nigerian talents in Belgium. Genk winger Yira Sor saw his value dip to €3 million, while Tochukwu Nnadi, a defensive midfielder with Zulte Waregem, enjoyed a significant rise to €2 million.

Centre-forward Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi, currently at OH Leuven, experienced a drop to €1.5 million, and Club Brugge’s Vince Osuji now stands at €1 million. Meanwhile, Benjamin Fredrick and Jordan Kadiri, both at FCV Dender EH, are valued at €800k and €300k respectively, with Fredrick seeing a notable increase.
