Osayi-Samuel Tipped for Galatasaray Move

Nigeria international Bright Osayi-Samuel has been linked with a move back to the Turkish Super Lig, with Galatasaray reportedly targeting the Birmingham City defender.

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, the Istanbul giants have identified Osayi-Samuel as a candidate for the right-back position as they prepare for possible changes in their defensive lineup.

Osayi-Samuel is no stranger to Turkish football, having spent four years with Fenerbahçe before moving to England.

His time at Birmingham City has been marked by limited playing opportunities, with the 28-year-old featuring in 22 matches this season and registering one assist.

He recently came under criticism following City’s 3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough, further fueling speculation about his future.

Galatasaray currently have Hungary’s Roland Sallai in the right-back role, but with Ivorian defender Wilfried Singo rumored to be on his way out after a string of impressive performances, the club is exploring reinforcements.

Osayi-Samuel’s familiarity with Turkish football and his popularity among fans could make him an attractive option for the Yellow and Reds.
