Osimhen: Beşiktaş Clash More Vital Than Liverpool Tie

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has declared that this weekend’s clash against Wilfred Ndidi’s Beşiktaş will be explosive and vital in the race to retain the Süper Lig title.
The two Nigerian internationals will face off in Matchweek 25 at the Tupras Stadyumu, with Galatasaray determined to secure three points before turning their attention to Europe.
‘The Beşiktaş match is very critical,’ Osimhen said. ‘A very high-quality team is waiting for us, but we also have a very high-quality team. We will go out there for three points. First the Beşiktaş match, then Liverpool, but let’s not forget that we also have a cup match against Alanyaspor.’
Osimhen emphasized that the Beşiktaş fixture is Galatasaray’s next big test, more immediate than their Champions League round of 16 tie against Liverpool.
Since moving to the Süper Lig from Italy, Osimhen has faced Beşiktaş three times, recording one win, one draw, and one loss, with a single goal to his name in those encounters.
With the title race heating up, the Nigerian forward’s focus remains firmly on domestic success before shifting to continental ambitions.
