Osimhen Could Be Back in Action Four Weeks After Surgery, Says Metin

Football commentator Tümer Metin has made a bold claim regarding the recovery timeline of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who sustained an arm fracture during Napoli’s clash with Liverpool.

Speaking on NOW, Metin drew from his own experience with a similar injury, noting that Osimhen’s surgery involved the insertion of platinum and nails to stabilize the fracture.

‘Minimum four weeks after surgery, that’s what was said in our time,’ Metin explained. ‘After that, they put on a splint to protect it even more.’

The former Turkish international emphasized that the injury affects balance, coordination, and movement, which ruled Osimhen out of the Liverpool match.

However, he expressed confidence that the striker could return sooner than expected.

‘I think he will play with a splint in the Fenerbahçe derby on April 26,’ Metin said, suggesting that Osimhen’s recovery process could align with the high-profile fixture.
