Osimhen Faces Crucial Test in Istanbul on Monday

Galatasaray are awaiting a decisive update on star striker Victor Osimhen’s injury, with the player set to undergo medical checks in Istanbul on Monday that will determine whether surgery is required.

Club reporter Serhan Türk confirmed that the decision will depend on the extent of the fracture sustained by the Nigerian forward.

‘Victor Osimhen is coming to Istanbul tonight. After the control to be made tomorrow, it is on the agenda to plan an operation according to the condition of the fracture,’ he explained.

Osimhen himself recently told a broadcast in Nigeria that he expects to be sidelined for ‘a maximum of five to six weeks’ following surgery.

His absence could prove pivotal in Galatasaray’s push for the league title, with his fitness seen as a key factor in their championship ambitions.
