Victor Osimhen furious with Napoli, rejects €8m per season salary offer from Chelsea as Al Ahli pull out of deal
Victor Osimhen is reportedly furious with Napoli for failing to agree a fee with Al-Ahli or Chelsea, leading to the Saudi Pro League side to withdraw their bid for the Nigerian.
Osimhen is now reportedly pushing to join Chelsea but has rejected an €8m per season salary at Stamford Bridge.
Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri and L’Equipe journalist Loic Tanzi, are saying Napoli are not ready to let him move to the Premier League as have not yet matched Napoli’s asking price for the 25-year-old.
Osimhen has a €130m clause in his contract, but Napoli are ready to sell him for €80m plus bonuses.
Al-Ahli thought they had a deal in place with the 25-year-old, but Napoli reportedly raised their request by €5m.
The infuriated Al Ahli officials had to abandon the bid and quickly move to finalise agreement with Brentford for England international, Ivan Toney.
According to Sky Football Italia, Osimhen is very angry and that there’s a ‘big fight ongoing’ between Osimhen and Napoli.
