Osimhen: It’s time for our fans to celebrate first Scudetto in 33 years!

Victor Osimhen has called on fans to begin the celebrations as Napoli are on the verge of clinching their third Scudetto title but first in 33 years.

Napoli have won the Serie A title twice with Diego Maradona inspiring them to clinch the first in the 1986-87 season, scoring 10 goals in 29 appearances and
the second in the 1989/90 season with the inimitable Argentine netting 16 goals and bagged 10 assists.

Now, Nigerian international forward, Osimhen is following in Maradona’s footsteps as his goals are driving the Partenopei to their first Scudetto in 33
years.

Osimhen has scored 21 goals in 25 appearances so far for the club he joined in September 2020 and the goals have helped them to an unassailble lead.

The win at Juventus on Sunday has put them 17 points clear on the log.

Napoli only needs to beat Salernitana in their matchweek 32 game at the Diego Maradona stadium on Saturday, while hoping Lazio, the only team with a
mathematical chance of catching them drop points when they visit the San Siro to face their host, Inter Milan on Sunday.

The Nigerian, 24, took to his intagram page on Monday to charge the fans to start the celebration.
