Osimhen seeking to score first goal against a Mourinho team in 26 months!

Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen will be expected to deliver the goals and victory for his Super Lig side, Galatasaray when they face Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce on Tuesday evening in the quarterfinals of the Turkish Cup.
The Super Eagle has been the soul and heart of the Yellow and Red and his goals (20 in 23 games) have ensured the club remains on top of the Super Lig table while the forward is the top scorer nit just for Galatasaray but in the entire league.
Galatasaray fans will thus look up to the 26-year-old loanee to deliver the semifinal ticket on Tuesday evening.
Osimhen has never had it easy against a side coached by Jose Mourinho as he has scored just twice and provided an assist in seven appearances with his last goal scored in January 2023 in a 2-1 win at the Armando Maradona stadium in a Serie A game.
Twice he has featured against Fenerbahce since his loan move but has only provided an assist in his club’s 3-1 win last September.
In Italy, the Nigerian faced Roma five times with Mourinho as coach and scored twice.
He has netted 26 times in 31 appearances so far across all competitions in Turkey.
