Victor Osimhen has once again proven why he is the heartbeat of the Super Eagles. In the group stages of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the Napoli striker set a new standard for involvement, becoming the most active player in front of goal.
According to Opta Joe, Osimhen was directly involved in 19 shots for Nigeria, 13 of his own and six created for teammates, more than any other player in the tournament’s opening phase.
His impact was not limited to numbers alone. He found the net once and laid on an assist, adding to his growing legacy at AFCON.
