Osimhen to Be Left Out of Galatasaray Starting XI Vs Alanyaspor

Galatasaray return to domestic duty Saturday night in the Süper Lig after their Champions League trip to Italy, and coach Okan Buruk has made a headline decision ahead of the clash with Alanyaspor.

In the 24th week of the league, the yellow and reds will host Alanyaspor but star striker Victor Osimhen will not be in the starting lineup.

According to reports in Sabah, several Galatasaray players have struggled to shake off fatigue and minor pains following the midweek European fixture.

As a result, Buruk is expected to rest Osimhen, turning instead to Mauro Icardi to lead the attack.

The Nigerian forward has scored once in two previous appearances against Alanyaspor and has an impressive record of 35 goals in 46 Süper Lig matches since joining Galatasaray from Napoli last season.
