Breaking: Osimhen Undergoes Surgery, Out for Five Weeks

Star Striker to Miss Key Matches

Galatasaray have confirmed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has undergone surgery in Istanbul following a broken arm sustained during the Champions League clash against Liverpool.

The club announced that the operation was successful and further updates will be shared through official channels.

Osimhen himself had earlier stated that his recovery would take approximately five to six weeks, meaning he is expected to miss around five matches.

The forward will be absent from crucial Süper Lig fixtures against Trabzonspor, Göztepe, Kocaelispor, and Gençlerbirliği, as well as the Turkish Cup quarter-final against Gençlerbirliği.

The big question remains whether Osimhen will be fit in time for the highly anticipated Fenerbahçe derby at the end of April. His availability will depend on how quickly he responds to treatment and rehabilitation.
