‘Osimhen’s less than €50m Al Ahli release clause can only be activated after two seasons,’ says transfer expert, Longari

According to Gianluigi Longari, an Italian sports journalist known for his work with Sportitalia and who frequently provides updates and insights on football transfers, Al Ahli and Victor Osimhen are approaching an agreement for the Nigerian to land in the Saudi Pro League.

‘The first agreement would have been found on the duration of Osimhen’s contract with the club: a four-year contract,’ wrote Longari on his X page.

Longari who is particularly active in covering the Italian football scene, says Osimhen’s entourage has been talking to the Saudi team for several days.

‘Al Ahli’s proposal for Osimhen includes a release clause that could only be activated after two seasons from the possible arrival of the striker in Saudi Arabia.

‘The clause is less than 50m euros,’ further wrote Longari.

Another Italian journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano says Al Ahli are offerring €25/30m salary net per year until 2028 for Osimhen,’ wrote Romano on his X page.
