Perfect Gunners: Arsenal set new Champions League club record with win in Italy

Arsenal continued their flawless Champions League campaign by defeating Inter Milan 3-1 at San Siro on Tuesday night, setting a new club record of seven consecutive wins in the competition.

The victory also marked their first triumph on Italian soil since 2008.

Gabriel Jesus was the star of the night, scoring twice to put the Gunners in control, while substitute Victor Gyökeres added a third to seal the result.

The win ensures Arsenal remain the only side with a 100% record in this season’s UEFA Champions League.

Jesus has now reached 10 goal involvements in the competition for Arsenal in just 15 appearances (six goals and four assists).

Only Andrey Arshavin (8), Alexis Sánchez (12), and Bukayo Saka (13) have achieved that milestone in fewer games for the club.

With the victory, Arsenal are guaranteed to finish in the top two of the Champions League phase
