Premier League clubs lead Juventus, OGC Nice in race for Ademola Lookman
Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League and European sides following his impressive performances for Atalanta
in the Serie A this season.
The Nigerian is understood to be being tracked by a number of top flight clubs in England and Juventus and Nice ahead of the January transfer window which
opens on Monday.
Lookman, who will represent Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, scored the winner in a 1-0 win over Lecce on Saturday, his seventh goal of an excellent
season. He has also made six assists.
Reports say Atalanta are bracing themselves for interest in 26 year old winger in the next two windows.
Lookman has significant Premier League experience, making close 96 appearances and scoring 11 goals in England’s top league with spells at Everton, Fulham
and Leicester.
He scored four times in 48 games across all competitions for Everton; eight goals in 42 games for Leicester City and four goals in 35 matches for Fulham
before making the switch to Italy where he has netted 22 times, provided 11 assists in 56 games for Atalanta.
Lookman has featured 105 times and netted 43 times in the topflight league in England, Germany and Italy.
