Premier League Squad Valuations: Arsenal Lead, Liverpool Third, Manchester United Seventh
The latest Transfermarkt market value update has reshaped the financial landscape of the English Premier League, with 249 players receiving revised valuations.
The Premier League, already the most valuable football division globally, saw its total squad value surge by €756.2 million, reaching an unprecedented €12.78 billion.
Despite a slight dip of 0.8% in squad value, Arsenal remain at the top of the Premier League rankings with a combined valuation of €1.31 billion.
Mikel Arteta’s side also hold the distinction of being the second most valuable squad in world football, trailing only Real Madrid. Manchester City, who experienced the largest squad value drop of 1.3%, still rank second overall, buoyed by Erling Haaland’s status as the league’s most valuable player.
Liverpool, having invested heavily in the summer transfer window, rank third with a squad value of €1.15 billion. Chelsea follow closely at €1.14 billion, making them the only other club to surpass the €1 billion mark.
Manchester United, long considered England’s most iconic club, sit seventh at €730 million, reflecting their ongoing struggles under manager Rúben Amorim.
Among individual players, Chelsea’s Moisés Caicedo joined the elite €100 million club, while Alexander Isak’s move to Liverpool earned him a €20 million boost.
On the other end, Manchester City’s Rodri and Phil Foden each saw €20 million reductions, and Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz dropped to €130 million.
Bournemouth and Sunderland emerged as the biggest winners in terms of squad growth, each enjoying a 17% increase in value thanks to impressive starts to the season.
Newly promoted Burnley also received a notable upgrade, though Scott Parker’s squad remains the least valuable in the division.
