Rangers sign Ex-Lobi Star Oloruntoba as squad reshuffle begins

Rangers International FC of Enugu have kickstarted their 2025/2026 campaign ambitions with the signing of dynamic winger Oluwasegun Oloruntoba from Lobi Stars.

The former Lobi man—renowned for his pace, agility, and left-footed flair—joins the eight-time Nigeria League champions on a two-year deal after putting pen to paper at the club’s corporate headquarters in Enugu.

Rangers, under the stewardship of coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to assemble a title-worthy squad. Oloruntoba’s arrival is one of several reinforcements aimed at bolstering the club’s attack ahead of a busy season that includes the NPFL and the 2026 President Federation Cup.

Visibly thrilled after finalizing the deal, the 5’8″ winger described the transfer as a significant milestone.

‘This is a dream come true for me in my career. Rangers is a big club and I promise to give my best to help us meet our targets this season,’ Oloruntoba said.

The Flying Antelopes are expected to unveil more new signings in the coming days, reinforcing the club’s clear statement of intent: to contend and conquer.
