Revealed: Osimhen has €90m release clause to leave Galatasaray in January!

RAI Sport claims Victor Osimhen reportedly has a €90m release clause to leave Napoli permanently in the January transfer window, according to RAI Sport journalist Ciro Venerato.
Venerato says the release clause for the Nigerian who joined Galatasaray after his reported deadline day discussions with Chelsea of England and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia were thwarted by Napoli, is not valid for Serie A clubs.
This means Osimhen cannot join Juventus who have been reported to be interested in his signature.
This claim by Venerato is however at variance with the stance of Galatasaray Vice President İbrahim Hatipoğlu who dismissed the reports that the striker will leave in January if the right offer arrives, claiming he won’t leave until June 2025.
‘Osimhen leaving in January is out of the question. In fact, we are making plans to have Osimhen play next season as well,’ Hatipoğlu said as quoted by NTVSpor.
Osimhen scored his first two goals for Galatasaray on Saturday in a 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa after bagging three assists, one in each of his first three games.
The Nigerian scored 26 goals in 32 appearances for Napoli to inspire them to their first Scudetto title in 33 years in the 2022/23 season.
He has scored 76 goals in 133 games with Napoli since he joined in September 2020 from Ligue 1 side, Lille.
