Revealed: Osimhen rejected €40m salary offer from Al-Hilal in January!

Galatasaray’s star striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected an astronomical salary offer in January.

According to Turkish sports news outlet, Milliyet, the 26 year old Nigerian who is on loan from Italian Serie A side, Napoli rejected a €40 million salary offer from Al-Hilal in the winter transfer window.

The newspaper also reported that the Nigerian has received many offers since he joined the Super Lig side in September.

The Nigerian last year vowed to finish the season with Galatasaray and he seems to have lived up to his promise.

Meanwhile, the newspaper is also reporting that Galatasaray are ready to pay the Nigerian’s €75 million release clause, but the player’s decision is awaited.

Osimhen has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season, contributing 26 goals and 5 assists.
