Saka out to equal Henry record, seeks first win in 10 Premier League games Vs Man City

Saka set to make 100th Premier League appearance
Bukayo Saka could become the first person in 19 years to provide an assist in each of his team’s first five matches in the Premier League.

The 23 year old has assisted a goal in all four games so far played by Arsenal in the competition and he could equal Thierry Henry’s feat (2004/05) if he bags another assist at the Etihad against defending Premier League champion, Manchester City.

Saka will also be seeking for his first Premier League victory against Pep Guardiola side in 10 games.

The Nigeria-born British international has drawn one and lost eight of the nine games he has played against the Cityzens so far and could change the negative narrative on Sunday.

He has scored twice in the nine games he has featured in against the Manchester-based side and Arsenal lost on both occasions.

If he scores, it will be his 60th for the Gunners in 232 appearances across all competitions with 48 of the goals coming in 174 Premier League appearances.

Saka’s Ghanaian brother, Thomas Partey has made most of his milestone appearances against Man City and he is also in line to make his 100th Premier League appearances in Sunday’s game.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Partey saw his debut, 50th and 100th Arsenal appearances all come against Manchester City.
