Saka overtakes Ronaldo, moves to third on list of youngest players to first 100 wins in the EPL

Bukayo Saka provided the assist for Thomas Partey to score Arsenal’s second goal and sealed Arsenal’s revenge-laden 2-0 win against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.

The victory means Saka has won in 100 of the 172 Premier League games he has played since he made his debut in the 2019/20 season.

At 22 years and 354 days old, Saka has not only become the second youngest Arsenal player to do so but also the third youngest in the history of the Premier League behind Wayne Rooney (22 years and 087 days) and Cesc Fabregas (22 years and 180 days).

Remarkably, Saka, Arsenal’s highest goal scorer last 16 with 16 goals, has moved above such Premier League icons as Cristiano Ronaldo (23 years and 025 days), Ryan Giggs (23 years and 044 days) and Phil Neville (23 years and 340 days).

Among those who are still playing in the Premier League, Saka has done it quicker than Phil Foden, who won all the award as Premier League best player last season, Raheem Sterling who is not sure of where he will be playing his football this season albeit he is registered as a Chelsea player, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Marcus Rashford.
