Sevilla opts out of surgery for Ejuke
Chidera Ejuke, who a suffered a high-grade hamstring tear whilst playing for Sevilla against Barcelona last month will not be operated on.
According to Marca, the 26 year old Nigerian will work on his recovery by following a conservative treatment that will reduce his time out.
The Spanish number one sports outlet says ‘Sevilla’s medical services studied what would be most convenient in his case and have finally determined that the player will not be operated
Ejuke arrived at Sevilla on a free transfer last summer transfer as Víctor Orta’s first summer signing and had become one of García Pimienta’s main offensive weapons at the start of the season, earning a starting spot in recent games with Lukebakio occupying the right wing.
The Nigerian felt a tear that forced him to retire before the break in an attempt to control a long ball.
