The Super Eagles camp in Cairo, Egypt, received a major boost as Amas Obasogie, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Igho Ogbu, Bright Osayi‑Samuel, and Tochukwu Nnadi all arrived on Sunday to join the team’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Their arrival brings the number of players in camp to nine, joining goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Stanley Nwabali, as well as midfielder Fisayo Dele‑Bashiru, who reported earlier.

Nigeria will compete in Group C at AFCON 2025 and will open their campaign on December 23 against Tanzania at the Fez Stadium in Fez, Morocco.

The Super Eagles are making their 21st appearance at the continental showpiece.

They have won the tournament three times, and finished as runners‑up last year after losing the final to Côte d’Ivoire despite scoring first.
