Sterling delighted to switch Chelsea for Arsenal; tells Gunners he can’t wait to show them what he can do

Raheem Sterling has told Arsenal fans he cannot wait to show them what he can do on the pitch after sealing a deadline day loan deal from Chelsea.
The 29-year-old who reportedly turned down one of the most lucrative footballing contracts ever seen from Saudi Arabia expressed his delight at switching from west London to north London.
He made the deadline day loan move after he was cast aside by new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
He has won four Premier League titles but chose to turn down advances that would have seen him become one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.
‘Hey Gooners, it’s Raheem Sterling here… super excited to be signing for Arsenal. And I can’t wait to see you all at the Emirates. An amazing stadium you know, the pitch is like carpet. So, I can’t wait to see you guys soon and show you exactly what I can do. Can’t wait to see you,’ he said in a video on Arsenal social media pages.
Sterling has scored 123 goals and provided 63 in 379 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea with 317 of his 764 shots on target. He has also missed a staggering 116 chances.
He featured 81 times across all competitions for Chelsea, scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists with 14 of his goals and seven of his assists coming in 59 Premier League games.
