Tebogo to launch 2025 Diamond League campaign in Xiamen
Olympic 200m champion Letsile Tebogo will launch his Wanda Diamond League campaign at the season opener in Xiamen, China on April 26, 2025.
Tebogo will be making his first attendance in Xiamen which will be the first step on the Road to the Final in athletics’ premier one-day series.
The Botswanan established himself as one of the sport’s biggest stars in 2024, claiming four Diamond League victories and sweeping to 200m gold and 4x400m silver for Botswana at the Olympics.
The African superstar will be aiming to claim his first ever Diamond League title in 2025, having narrowly missed out in a surprise defeat to Kenny Bednarek in last year’s final in Brussels.
The Wanda Diamond League is the elite one-day meeting series in global athletics. It comprises 15 of the most prestigious events in global track and field. Athletes compete for points at the 14 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final, which will be held in Zurich on 27th and 28th August 2025.
