Terem Moffi Named 28th best player in Ligue 1 in 2022

The football news outlet also named Moses Simon as the 52nd best in its selection of the top one hundred talents that French football has to offer, judged solely on their performances in 2022.
According to the football news outlet, players that are eligible are judged on all their professional appearances in 2022, regardless of whether or not they were playing abroad for a part of the calendar year.
Lorient forward, Terem Moffi may be contesting for the top scorer award in the Ligue 1 this season with his 10 goals, just two behind Kylian Mbappe and one behind Neymar but the 25 year old has been ranked the 28th best in the Ligue 1 this year.
Moffi has scored 16 goals in 33 games in 2022. He may add to that before the close of the year when Lorient hosts Montpellier on Thursday at the Stade du Moustoir.
Nantes winger, Moses Simon is rated the 52nd best. The 27 year old has scored five times in 13 appearances so far this season and 11 goals in 25 games in the 2022 calendar year.
Nigeria-eligible forward, Folarin Balogun is rated as the 65th best and has scored eight goals and bagged two assists from 15 games in his first season in the French Ligue 1.
At 21, Balogun became the first reims player to score in each of his first three appearances since Jacques Vergnes in 1075-and at one point the youngster was rivalling Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in his early season form.
