Trabzonspor Open Talks with Lazio Over Dele-Bashiru as Sunderland, Forest Monitor

Trabzonspor have reportedly opened talks with Lazio over a potential move for Nigeria international Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, with Sunderland and Nottingham Forest also linked to the midfielder.

The Turkish Super Lig side are said to have made initial contact with the Serie A club to explore the conditions of a deal for the 24-year-old, whose reputation continues to grow across Europe.

Lazio are believed to value Dele-Bashiru between €15million and €20million (£12.7million–£16.9million), a figure that reflects his age, versatility, physical attributes and the fact he remains under contract until June 2028.

While his current market value is estimated at around €6.5million (£5.5million), the Italian club’s higher asking price suggests they may only consider selling if their valuation is met.

At this stage, discussions are thought to be exploratory, with no agreement in place. However, the growing list of suitors, including Trabzonspor, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest, indicates Lazio could soon face a decision on whether to retain the midfielder or cash in.
