Trabzonspor Reveal Financial Details of Kazeem Olaigbe Transfer
Trabzonspor have officially completed the signing of Kazeem Olaigbe from French club Rennes, confirming the financial terms of the deal in a statement to Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
The 22-year-old Belgian left winger, who has signed a five-year contract with the Maroon-Blues, will cost the club a total of €5 million, to be paid in three installments.
The transfer marks a significant investment in youth and attacking depth as Trabzonspor look to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
In addition to the transfer fee, the club disclosed the player’s annual salary structure, which increases incrementally over the duration of the contract:
2025–26 season: €1.3 million
2026–27 season: €1.35 million
2027–28 season: €1.4 million
2028–29 season: €1.5 million
2029–30 season: €1.6 million
The total salary commitment over five years amounts to €7.15 million, bringing the overall cost of the transfer to €12.15 million when combined with the fee paid to Rennes.
Olaigbe, known for his pace and technical ability on the wing, is expected to play a key role in Trabzonspor’s attacking plans. His arrival signals the club’s intent to invest in promising talent with long-term potential.
